Program
T he Fighting Concepts class is the program for adults who enjoy the extreme sport of Mixed Martial Arts competition and want to avoid the structure and discipline of traditional martial arts training. The primary focus of the class is to develop athletes with power, speed, technique and cardio conditioning necessary to survive in today’s mixed martial arts fights. This class focuses on striking drills using target pads and weight bags as used in kickboxing for punches, kicks, elbows and knees and grappling drills using throws, strangulations and submission locks.
The training is very intense and therefore not for everyone. This class has an open environment to new participants. Students train in attitude-free surroundings where the free exchange of ideas allows for personal growth and increased skill. This class is home to athletes who want to train, learn, and share.
